2024 Participating Reuse Organizations

All material received at donation stations will benefit participating reuse organizations.


Austin area urban league

A non-profit organization that provides opportunities for an “equitable quality of life” for all residents in Austin and surrounding areas in Central Texas. They strive to support African Americans and other underserved urban populations to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.

 

Austin Creative Reuse

Austin Creative Reuse is a nonprofit that collects and sells donated craft materials. Their goal is to give unwanted materials a new life through crafting and upcycling. ACR is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to foster conservation and reuse through creativity, education and community building.

 

Goodwill Central Texas

Goodwill Central Texas works to empower people to work through education and job training, retail stores and business services, and community partnerships. Operate over 60 retail stores in Austin-area.

 

Salvation Army Family Stores

The Salvation Army Family Stores supports the programs of the Adult Rehabilitation Center, a voluntary, faith based program serving men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves. Goods donated to The Salvation Army are sold through stores and funds are used for programming.

 

UT Outpost

The University of Texas Student Emergency Services in the Office of the Dean of Students operates UT Outpost to support students on campus. Their goal is to help students understand and identify food insecurity, and make nutritious food readily available to students when they need it.

 

Arms of Hope

Arms of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need. Arms of Hope also reaches disadvantaged children in their own neighborhoods in various communities with its Outreach Ministry programs.
