We’d love your help recruiting volunteers, promoting the donation stations, and advertising the Free Furniture Market. We made it easy and created 3 toolkits complete with social media and newsletter copy, accompanying images, memes, and posters.
Tips For Property Managers
Keeping good stuff out of the landfill makes move out easier on you and your staff, too!
Download the donation station poster or mini-flyer to distribute digitally.
Hang posters in common spaces like: elevators, mailrooms, stairwell doors, lobby bathrooms, entry/exit points, laundry rooms, study and exercise spaces. We have hard copies available, and are happy to deliver more, just email us at circulareconomy@austintexas.gov.
Circle the nearest location on the posters! Include walking/driving directions from your complex in digital messaging.
Encourage students to think ahead! Consider running weekly collection drives leading up to the event and bring the material to your nearest station beginning July 27. For example, collect clothing one week, and office supplies another. You could can even incentivize participation by raffling a prize to participants!
